The WGA Rose City Memorial
Date: Sunday and Monday of Labor Day Weekend
Portland has always been an important destination for the Western Golf Alliance, and as one of two WGA events held on a three day weekend The Rose City Memorial often attracts players looking for a little holiday side-trip.
The Rose City Memorial is a stroke play, 18 holes, NET score affair. With the northwest weather often starting to take a turn toward fall by Labor Day, the conditions often play a factor in the outcome of the Rose City Memorial. Additionally, late in the season, many players are looking for a way to pick up WGA Tour Series points.
Tour Series Point Structure:
Champion = 250 points
Runner Up = 130 points
Third = 100 points
Fourth = 80 points
Fifth-Eighth = 60 points
